Purchased a Bentley GTC the other day

Picked up a Bentley GTC on Wednesday. What A fabulous car. It is a 2008 with 5200 miles on it. Diamond Black with Portland main hides, Black secondary hides, Piano Black veneers & Mulliner Package.

These pictures are from the selling dealers web sight as they are better than I could take with my limited photographic skills.

I agree on the steering wheel...the one I drove (GT Speed) had the same look wheel but was one piece leather...maybe it's an option? Certainly looks amazing.

I am pretty sure the wheel is standard on the Speed or with the Mulliner option. The two color is then an added option. Not sure if the 3 spoke wheel can be ordered as a stand alone option.

Justin - The two color wheel is an option. We originally looked at the Speed as the Pittsburgh dealer had 3 new '08s in stock and were very close to buying one but decided to go for a convertible. All have the same interior - black with the aluminum panels. Very "tech" looking. All were around 219,000.00 and I could have bought any one for 159,000.00. They still have two if you are seriously looking - Moonbeam (silver) & Granite. They are now asking 169,000.00. They said they had to buy the cars so an incentive went away. You can see them here:

Still not sure how a car can have less warranty, be closer to the '10s coming out, been at the dealer for another 3 months and have the price go up. Probably room to negotiate.

Thanks Duffy...I just checked out their site.

Did you see the one with the aluminium interior? The GT speed I drove had it with red z stitching...I thought it looked amazing but I showed the pics to my wife and she thought I was trying to be a pimp!

Now I'm second guessing myself. What did you think of the aluminum.

Yes - Saw it, drove it & loved it. Very high tech looking that really goes with the Speed model. To me, the Speed is the sporty version so the high tech look is great while the non-speed can go either way - sporty or luxury. If this car was predominantly for me, I would have gone with one of these in a heartbeat as I would hardly ever drive with a top down. My turbo is a coupe because of that. My wife loves the convertible though. If you call Pittsburgh Bentley ask for Lou Bellisario and tell him Duffy from Greensburg said to call. Good guy - started as a mechanic and moved up to sales mgr. Attached are the window stickers from the 3 cars - the Silver Tempest has been sold.

Thanks Duffy! I'll keep you posted.

She really got into my head...saying that I'm trying to make the car something it's not by going with the aluminum and the red stitching...to me it made it more unique and sporty...she said...that's why you have a 911 Turbo...a Bentley should be a Bentley...

She just told me she will buy me a large fedora and a walking stick for my pimp-mobile! Funny...very funny
