Yes the support is non existent but for the price... what can you expect! If you can somehow get into tech at Audiovox they can be more knowledgeable and helpful. Try the advice of ETM and go with the cut off switch. Honestly its not that much of a problem for me to warrant the switch.

Media Bridge Bentley GT 2004

Thanks Blackgtc, I did not stuff around with the reset button.
Mine is the same for RH drive. The other buttons are slightly differently placed.
I will see what it does for me and how it effects the system.
I will add the switch.
I wonder if we can reprogram any of this through VAGCOM?
Has anyone got a good PC program for re-programming the VW computers?
Cheers!

i just bought a kit from icarkits.com now its not perfect but it does allow you to play your ipod threw your stero not that radio frequency mess the biggest challenge is getting behind your cd player to dissconnect it its a ***** so if you are not handy in taking out like 50 screws and clips do not do this yourself...as far as the item itseld its a bit wacky because sometimes it lets you scroll your songs ans sometimes its just wont let you do it but it does work never the less i have a 2005 gt the the sku # on the item is p2avwtv1 its 159.00 its certainly alot better then dealing with friggin cd's but beware of the install process its tricky getting that cd player moved

You don't have to remove any screws to get the CD player out. Just use the right removal keys and it it slides out in under 30 seconds.

THEBUONONE, made the same 'mistake' in the first B that was here. With the right tools (two pairs) it takes maybe 5 minutes max and is VERY easy.

Yours did not what? On the front lower left and front lower right corner on the CD changer is a little cover. Pop the cover off, insert the keys, which can be bought online for around $10, and the CD changer slides out. If you have a fax number PM me and I will fax the instructions, sorry I do not not know how to scan and upload.

Fax sent.

Google Radio Removal Keys. Insert the keys as shown in the picture and the CD changer slides right out. I think I picked up my keys on Ebay.

Glad to help. Every once in a while I can answer a question rather than asking one.

The VW keys should work fine. Just buy one of the sets that usually come with 20+ keys. This way if you want to remove the Nav unit you will have the keys to do that as well.

This should be the key for the CD changer: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Volkswagen-V...item53f6db2c76

I think that this is the set that I bought: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-VW-A...f4a892&vxp=mtr
