Couple CGT questions
Couple CGT questions
Hi, first post on the Bentley site. My business partrner and I share 2 cars an 2007 CGT mulliner and an 2007 Gallardo Spyder. Since my main ride prior to the Gallardo was a 997TT my partner prefered the Bentley now that we addedd the G spyder he wants to trade off a bit more.
My question is I would like a bit more snap from the Bentley so I modded the exhaust for sound effect and I'm wondering if the GIAC tune would be felt in this car without adding an exhaust. Also I love the look of 22's but our roads are crap in Alberta and I'm concerned on bending rims. I still want a new wheel does anyone have a suggestion for a chrome(not my choice) 20,21 wheel for this car.
I'm sure it's been posted before I just don't follow this forum enough, spent way too much time on the 997 one, and did a few searches and didn't come up with info I needed.
Thanks all,

For the Lambo the dealer is doing in via a plug in. For the Bentley I pulled the rear bumper off and and disconnected the neumatic tubes and just plugged them to keep out debris.Nice mod but in no way does it replace an exhaust for sound adjustment just wakes it up a bit at lower rpm.
Has anyone used H&R loweing module and would you recomend it.I am going to stick with new 20" wheels and use the module which drops the the car 1.2" to snug things up just a bit.
I am being told by the supplier that the GIAC tune works very well which it should at 4100.00 has anybody used any other tunes from a reputable company?

jdavis,
Instead of a lowering module, for under $300 and anout an hour of your time you can easily change the suspension links that hook to the air suspension system. This allows you to set a lower height initially, then use the electronic 'higher' setting for normal street use or speed bumps if you go very low. An example of these links can be seen at:
