Hope you can make a decent show with your pumped up black beauty. The New Zealand national land speed record was broken yesterday by a Lambo Superleggera doing 383km/h at one point (rocket fuel).

Considering the Lambo can only do 315 standard against our 321 km/h... can't let the Italians show up the Bentley Boys!

PS. Just looked up fast production cars and see the Veyron Super Sport did 258 mph / 415.21 km/h in 2010. Wow!

 

That's one of my goals. The fastest Bentley land record or salt flats. Just for fun. Depending on sponsorship. I believe she can be tuned up to about 230 to 250 mph. The ice record was broken with a Bentley ISR which only produces 630hp.( 217mph). We are talking about modifying her from 850hp to 1100hp, and this is a huge HP gain.

 

Are you allowed to modify the gearing as this may be the limiting factor once you have enough power to 'easily' break through the wall of air at 228 mph (which is about were i am guessing max rpm gets you in 6th gear).
