Try to separate the two sides, see the 8 clips, also are the gear shafts broken/snapped at the ends?
I will be going to my shopping center tonight or tomorrow so I will pickup the pieces.

Ok..got it off Johnny, just trying to see if I can get it flush with that rubber now. I take it the white gear rods holds it in place.

How did you make out, the white gear pieces are actually what adjust the mirror up down, l&r.
I don't want to pull this one apart to figure it out, I don't want to possibly break it.

I got it back on and it moves as it should. I’ll stick the mirror back on and let you know how it holds up.

I guess you would need to put LED bulb with resistors preinstalled? What size bulb was it again!

 

No resistor. Canbus bulb. I think I ordered the 29mm. Umm have to check in a few.

Edit: 501 led 25mm
C5 led 39mm

Been following this thread with interest. I have a cracked lens which houses LED strip. How do I remove this unit? Removing the mirror was very straight forward but can’t work out how to remove LED strip unit
