Cayenne Side Mirror LED puddle lights?
#2
Very easy once the mirror is pulled off, grab the connection wire and gently pull, T10 light will come out on a socket. Pull out and replace with a 5 chip wedge LED ES2526289 Ziza or similar. ECS Tuning has detailed instructions.

We haven't tested the bulbs yet in the 958, but all indications show that they should be exactly the same. For more information about the kit, Click Here.

Is it difficult to take the mirrors off and put the bulbs in? Anyone have a DIY on doing this or any experience on how I go about it?

Here is a thread that a customer used, to help you get a better understanding on how to do it. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...y-19-95-a.html

I changed mine to LED. It is a bit tricky but it can be done. First you need to pry off the mirror glass, and next thing is to remove the mirror motor, then you need to remove the body-color housing. At this point you can pull out the bulb socket.

Guys, I need your help with pulling off the body-colored mirror housing.
I have already removed the mirror glass and the mirror motor assy.
I have removed the bolt (green) and pressed the two plastic tabs outwards (red). I applied a lot of force trying to pry it off ... but no cigar. I've stopped as I was afraid of breaking sth.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have found those two drawings (958.1):
From those images there should be nothing else holding the upper part of the housing, but I still can't unclip it, even though I have managed to put not one but TWO plastic wedges inside. Putting a wedge requires A LOT of force and the whole thing is flexing like crazy.
I'm affraid to apply any more force, as I feel this thing is close to breaking
