Question How do I clear Fault Roof Code?

I opened my roof while at a stop light while moving slowly (5 MPH) and it threw a Fault Roof Code. Any idea how I clear it? Roof opens and closes fine.

Thanks
J

Its says "Fault Roof". I read a post that mentions disconnecting the battery for 5 mins. Supposedly that will clear it.
I'm going to give it a try.

Im thinking disconnecting battery may trigger other fault codes. You may want to scan the can bus system with a "Vag reader". Will identify the code and related information. I also operate my roof at low speed. Manual says max 25 mph I think. Based on your low speed operation could be coincidental of some other issue.

I was told you will have to take it to the dealership. It "should" only happen when you open the roof and you're driving faster then 21 MPH. Salesman told me about it when I purchased.

Thanks! I'll drop it off at the dealer tomorrow.

Ahhh..The joys of owning a Bentley. The dealer charged me $150 to clear the code..It took the tech 10 mins.

For future reference will this clear the code for me? I'm considering buying one.

I have had this fault code for months and was told that it could be cleared when I had my next service. Did the tech indicate that it was a good thing to have it removed? Or is it just a sign that sometime in the past a roof fault condition occurred and doesn't really indicate any real problems that need to be fixed.

No harm in driving with the fault code. I was just annoyed by it so I had it cleared.
