Ok.

What does it indicate though? this is the first time I have seen this symbol?

When activating the handbrake/parking brake the red indicator lights up on the RPM counter.

Ahh ok. Just went to the B and checked a few things.... Odds are one of your emergency brake sensors might be bad. It happened to the 06 that was here (rear right) and recall seeing that when it went bad. Does it stay on all the time or ????

I had this appear on my car a few weeks ago, I just parked up, applied the parking brake and disengaged and it disappeared. Not seen it since.

Disengaged the handbrake and the warning disappeared. Thanks for the info. Will keep an eye on it.

It means there is a parking brake electrical fault, only affecting the parking brake operation. Ensure P-Park is selected when leaving the car.....that's from the manual 5-20.

I had the same last year, it would clear but came back more and more until I had to take it to Bentley.....they found a sensor had failed and left motor was seizing up. They changed it under my extended warranty

It is on because there is a fault with the parking brake control module. If you replce it, everything will be fine again.
