V Checker V202 Problems

I purchased a V Checker V202 OBD2 reader and the port does not fit my 2005 GT. I spoke to the seller and they said they were having problems with the manufacturer of the device. Does anyone have a suggestion of a devise I could purchase that would work on my GT to turn of the TPMS but is not the V202. I would hate to buy a second one to only have it not work.

My V checker doesn't fit well into the port either. Takes me about a minute to wiggle it on so that I get power to the V202.
I don't like forcing it on, but it does eventually work.
