Damn!!! You were not kidding when you tried to explain this on the phone! I am completely amazed at this! No way in a million years could I have ever done this! So amazing and the end product looks incredible!!!
Now post some proper final photos!!!
Thank you @Marpir821 , it was great talking with you !
The photos will have to wait for now...
Explained in my next post.
Looking good! Like the color combo of the paint/wheels/interior and the aftermarket bumper looks great, really updates the car and definitely unique.
I see you added lowering links. Did these a few weeks ago and installed the rear ones with the 'elbow' pointing in the wrong direction and had a very highly jacked up rear end for a few confusing minutes and the upper height limits of the airbags being reached, per the nav screen. At least it made it easy to get under there and correct my mistake.
Hi @sam08861 ,
Thank you again for your comments !
One question though, as I am confused by your stating that the rear links had elbows, only my fronts have any bends, whereas my rears are just straight.
My lowering links for the rear are straight too. (look to be the same as yours, from the red covering material)
The mistake I made was that the plastic lever, that's under tension where the top ball socket of the lowering link attaches to was rotated along it's range of motion, so that the 'knee' where the two join was pointed in the wrong direction.
Ie. the two 'levers' of the arm and the lowering link meet at an angle, and since the car never gets high enough that the angle is straightened out, the 2 arms cannot 'pivot' to the other direction and one end needed to be removed, the lever rotated so the 'knee' is at the opposite side, and reattached so that the correct positions are reported to the control module.
As such, since it was rotated an extra 90? degrees or so towards indicating a lower position, the position sensor thought the car was too low and kept trying to raise the car beyond the limit, in oder to get the plastic arm to the position where it would indicate raised to the right level, based on the lever position.
Hope that makes sense, a bit hard to describe without drawings, but in short, the link was attached like < instead of >, for example, with the point of the less/greater than sign being the junction of the top of the lowering link and the end of the plastic lever with the ball (male end) connection that rotates and reports position.

This project has been mind-boggling to follow for us mere mortals. I remember those piles of wiring harnesses you posted photos of early on. OMG! But you persevered and put it all back together. Bloody amazing! I hope you are driving the car now and loving it. Cheers!
Just noticed the US sidelight “delete.” Looks sleeker without the big oval incandescent lights.
@sam08861 ,
I like the look also, but I am installing mini dime sized amber LED's on each side.

What were they thinking , did they think you were slapping them on a Chrysler 300C Continental look-alike.
Hope you can do some filler work and flair in the wrong gaps etc.
Hello @Frank ( Sunnyside ) ,
I understand your feeling, and appreciate it, but we all know this can happen anywhere in the world, what really was an issue for me was the somewhat misrepresenting of the business, in speaking with them and reading their website I got the impression that they made all these items in-house, turns out the have no shop at all, therefore they told me they had no mesh as shown in the listing, nor do they prime or paint any items, so after I had the issues upon delivery, I questioned as to the body man whom primed over the horrible workmanship, that is when I got the response of we do not prime or paint anything, I said, "well if you don't prime, then who primed these pieces, wait a minute, who made these pieces", I got silence... and a round about answer.
Live and learn 🤔
That's pretty bad, and for most people the parts would be unusable. I have had situations like that before and disputed the charges. I told my credit card company the parts were damaged/unusable and I wasn't going to pay to have them shipped back. I disputed the charges and the merchant had to come and pick up the parts.
Hello @Linescreamer 👋
I thought about going that route, good advice.

Parked in my driveway, dumb 🦌 deer !
I was walking to my vehicle to look at her backside like I always do, and it was a blankety blank moment, I look around like what the fudge and there are 5 of his/her friends standing at the side of my house, I guess he or she misjudged the jump over the boxwoods and landed on the Bentley...
I am going to bring it to Caruso's Automotive (Tommy) in Plainfield NJ.
I will also have Tommy do the front bumper, rear Supersports spoiler, Supersports hood vents, and cut, weld end caps on, and polish the front bumper lower stainless trim pieces, as the stock trim pieces from the stock bumper are to long for the aftermarket bumper.

Oh Dear.....
Sorry about the pun.
Thats a **** thing to happen.
After all your hard work.
🤬☹
LMAO "Oh Dear", thank you for the chuckle !
And this is why pictures are so important.
What bugs me is that this 10,000 mileage vehicle is all original paint, with the exception of the front bumper, now it will need blending into the roof and other areas...
Maybe I should just wrap it after body work, 🤔 .
Blue chrome, or Bentley Kingfisher Blue !
Hello All,
Well, because of all the flooding, I haven't had the Bambi dent fixed, as the repair man has his own flooding problems at home and work, so of course I understood his really not giving a crap about my B, I truly do, and am hesitant to call, gonna give him so time.
So here are some beauty shots, she's a hottie !
I added tiny amber LED's to the front bumper to remain legal.... 🤣
Next I need to shorten the lower stainless steel trim to fit the bottom of the front bumper.
Hello All,
I would like to add this bit of information, so if any others run into this issue, it may be of help.
As I posted back on July 6th 2021, post # 255, I had a steering angle sensor fault, whereas the Ross-Tech VCDS would not even connect to the SAS, and every time that I started the engine and drove, all was clear until I came to a stop and drove off again, if I coasted through a stop, no issue, but once fully stopped, I would get the Christmas tree Instrument cluster, such as, ABS, Traction Control, EPC, brake warning, and so on, so I replaced the angle sensor, and then ended up with the warnings every time I started the engine, then more research lead to the clock spring, well that wasn't it either, and the only item left is the steering column control module, right, well, I replaced that also, no go, each time the faults varied as in when they would happen depending on what I replaced, and being that I had replaced the entire steering column because of in and out play, and the grinding noise as heard in my video of her first drive out of the garage, I thought maybe I damaged some wiring while cutting the steering column lock mechanism off in place in the vehicle, well, all wiring was fine, then it hit me sitting in the vehicle at 2AM in my driveway running scans, as I was just sitting there with the ignition on and my foot on the brake pedal, the fault appeared on the dash, so I did it several times, press the brake pedal as to keyless start, and the ABS, TC, EPC, and so on lit up, and just as all prior scans showed, each individual module claimed that the steering angle sensor had a fault, but in my scanning, I found that the brake light switch had an Intermittent fault, yet the brake light switch functioned like it should, both circuits of the switch worked, all brake lights, along with cruise control, push button start, so what could be the problem, well it seems that the brand new OEM brake light switch had just a hair of play in between the two circuits, causing all these faults, I installed the actual third new brake light switch, and all is fine, not a peep out of the Instrument cluster...

That front bumper is just mean looking. Side note...I had to reposition my XM antenna (same as yours) on my boat. I cut the end off of it to fish it through a small hole. Turn out its just like a regular TV cable and I was able to splice it back to life.
