HI guys,
can you tell me this dimension when the car is at rest.

 

A 2007 GTC with 19" factory rims and Michelin PSS tires it is 28"

 

can you tell me how to get at the air pump


the car is sitting at 25 inch, way to low.

Have you tried using the high suspension setting. If it raises, should be around an inch, it would at least rule out the pump being faulty.

Someone might have used lowering links or some other method to lower it. ExSF is right, see if raising it works, and if it does then someone did some mod to lower the vehicle.

 

car sits fine out on the road 27/27 1/2 inch
but after 12 hours car sits down to 25 ish all round

Sorry to say, if it is raising to 27.5", then you have a leak if it falls to 25" after 12 hours.

But to answer your question joc44, the pump / distribution valve is located in the rear of the vehicle under the trunk area accessed from the bottom after removing the rear belly pan, also in drivers side (North America) rear wheelhouse is the accumulator tank, although I would not think that the tank would leak, but the line feeding it may, take a listen in a very quite place to see if you can hear any hissing.

yes it is, the pic is so good just had to use it lol.
the white tubes in the last pic do look as if they could go brittle
with the heat.

I just want to be clear as to not cause anyone any confusion, the white lines in the picture are the fuel vapor lines to and from the charcoal canister and have nothing to do with the air suspension, I posted that picture to show were the air suspension pump resides, sorry I already had both pumps out at the time of picture taking, I will get a clear picture of the air suspension pump installed this weekend, here is a picture showing the EVAP canister and lines.
