Hi all:

Anyone know what the most recent release of the nav disc is for a 2009 flying spur? How much at the dealer, and where else can i get it for a reasonable price? Ebay yields nothing

Whatever is the latest BMW Nav 'HIGH' DVD set (two discs for USA).

 

Really?? I was hoping i could use a disc from another car!

My bentley dealer finally called me back about the disc. They said the most recent update disc (keep in mind it's Jan 16 right now) is two years old. And ready for this? He said it costs $1100!!!

Where else can i get it?

 

$1100.... BWAAAAAAAA_HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Try $50 anywhere online. Look up BMW DVD Nav HIGH 2015. Don't think they ever made a 2016.

PS: It comes with a firmware disc too, DO NOT use it. Just load the proper region DVD and you're good to go

Contrary to some online reports, the 2014 two DVD set (maps by TOMTOM) does NOT work in the standard 2009 Continental GT navigation system (the very outdated 2007 Siemens single DVD does).

 

What is the latest thinking on this? I need to update my 2008 GT nav system.


Does the BMW 2015 two disc update work or not? If not what can I get newer than 2008?

 

I have the same question for Continental Europe for my 2006 UK car..have the UK disc but not the Europe one ..What should I be looking for?
