Possible New Owner

Hello all,

I'm looking at the below 05 Continental GT. I currently have a BMW 335i, so I make good money but nothing crazy. It appears I can fit a car seat in the back so with hopefully starting a family that could work. Its also 4 wheel drive and very heavy so I assume it will go well in the snow. The goal is it being my daily driver at about 15k mostly highway miles. I'm open to thoughts on the above statements as well as the below questions. Currently my wife hates this idea, so we'll see!

Is it worth buying an extended warranty and if so who is best and how much am I looking at?

Is the price good or is there some wiggle room?

Am I crazy? I just feel like getting a bentley for the price of a new audi/merc/bmw could work. Especially if a warranty isn't a bad price.

Does anyone know any good independent mechanics in the WV/Western PA area that would be cheaper than a dealer?

Thanks in advance everyone.

Hi.

We have quite often had a car seat in the rear for our grand daughter, now aged 6.
No real problems to be honest. There isn't much of a view for kids that small though.

Les.
