Hi

Recently purchased a 2007 Arnage T.
The car only came with the two button Valet Key which is falling apart.
I am wondering if the later model Continental fobs can be reprogrammed to suit an Arnage as I see plenty of used ones for sale.

I realize the key blade is different but I am hoping that replacing this will be a minor issue if the fob can be reprogrammed to suit.

Not sure if you can reprogram without the dealer but I think you can buy used ones on eBay and take your board out and put it in the newer one. If you search the forum, there are write ups by members that have done it or upgraded to a newer style fob.

Yes I am aware that a trip to Dealer will be necessary for reprogramming just not sure if a Continental fob can be reprogrammed to suit an Arnage.

You'd think that they would have the same operating system especially if the Continental was around the same year model

However the various vendors offering the Continental Fobs state that they're not compatible but that may be a "just in case" statement.
