Bentley Tech removing my Engine
why? engine was removed
I had the engine and transmission replaced, my suspension calibrated new built vac lines made of steel tubing.( so the leak will never happen again) I had tie rods installed, new BMC air filters installed, he gave me rotors that were better than mine, also installed another vac pump as mine had bit the dust. he also replaced the radiator that I supplied as mines had a small leak.
new hoses, two new tires and he mounted and aligned car also corrected my ride height ride height. my old trans bit the dust after 180,000 miles the thermostat and alternator went bad as well so I decided I wanted to keep the car I then searched for a engine and trans from a wrecked car. my car I swear is like brand new now thanks to
Jason Giannetti of Giannetti performance 516 398-2016.
so far as engine out I wanted it done the correct way,he is bentley trained and lamborghini trained. I hope this helps someone who is tired of being taken...

HI BentleyF,
I also just got my vacuum line repaired but used the OEM line (plastic) rather than custom metal line. Did your mechanic say anything about the newer OEM vacuum line ?
I wonder if Bentley fixed the issue because I don't want my engine out again.

My job was done at my local Indy. I needed bunch of stuffs like turbo solenoids, exhaust temp sensors, new drive belt, tensioners, bunch of hoses, anti-rollbar drop links, relay roller.
My bought all the parts myself except the vacuum hose.
I haven't got my total bill yet but the labour will probably be around 50+ hours. I forgot the exact labour rate but it is somewhere in the ballpark of $100-$120/hr.
One thing I forgot to do is to replace the starter motor. It is a good idea to replace it while the engine it out. I only found out once the engine was back in.
My brakes, suspension, and engine are now all refurbished. Knock on the woods and hope there is no major repair soon.

His transmission went bad along with some other things, so he purchased a complete used package {ENGINE & TRANS} and had it installed.
As far as the line replacement, it is NOT for the suspension, it IS for the vacuum circuit, just watch the videos he posted of Jason performing the smoke test, ALSO Jason hand bent the vacuum lines for the install.
