Beeping Noise

Can anyone advise me please ?

I purchased a 2008 Continental GT just before Christmas 2017 .

The functions and settings available seem almost endless and it has been a steep learning curve for me when reading the handbook.

One particular issue which I can't solve is as follows .

Whenever I start the car from cold , within 10 seconds a continuous loud beep sounds from inside the cabin.

This happens if car is parked in my garage or when it is parked in the road.

The beep stops and does not happen again until the next time I start the engine from cold. The car is running perfectly and no message appears on the dash or infotainment screen.

The beep sounds as if it is a warning of some sort , but I can't fathom it out and there is no reference to it in the handbook.

Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing it ?

Turn off your parking distance sensors, it is to the right of the steering wheel. see if it stops. If so its a bad sensor.

It might be your front or rear parking sensors if parking too close to an object. They will time out if you do not move the vehicle.
