Vag Com question

Hey guys still a little new here to the forum. I wanted to know is there a specific VAG COM needed to work on a Bentley? Because most the ones I see say only VW and Audi Skoodi etc. But I know bentley is VW to the T. Thanks for any suggestions and if anyone can recommend a good cheap one

VAS5054A gives you everything you need. Not cheap and not easy to understand as it is for Bentley trained techs.

Legitimate Ross-Tech VAG-COM will function for everything you need to do. I use it currently, and have not had an issue yet.

Experimenting, I bought a xtool vag401 Chinese knock-off scanner. I cannot endorse this for other users because sometimes they work great sometimes they work okay and sometimes they just don't work. As for in the glove box convenience costing only $50 I like it. On a side note on earlier Bentleys it can retrieve the pin number, the four-digit secret key code.

That said it is not an absolute replacement for a Ross Tech vcds. With the Ross Tech you get a lot of support and a fantastic interphase.
