2004 GT key FOB not opening doors

My key starts the car fine, but when I get close to the car door, it no longer unlocks or locks the door with the press of the sensor on the drivers door. If I use the key itself then it locks and unlocks the door fine. This started happening 2 months ago. I also noticed at the same time that the button on the trunk button Bentley logo does not open the trunk anymore either. Looks like the FOB sensor is not doing what it is supposed to. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Remy

Try inserting the key to wake the car up. While leaving key inserted, press the buttons on the keyfob. This may re-sync your keyfob to the car....

Tried but no luck. The FOB buttons work fine to lock and unlock the doors and trunk, but cannot lock doors by pushing sensor on handle, cannot open door by pulling on handle with FOB close, and cannot open trunk by pressing the B logon on the trunk with the FOB close.

Did the OP ever figure out the problem? I'm encountering this now. We found a dead fuse, and after replacing it, it worked for about 10 minutes and blew again. Not sure if it's the Kessy module causing it to blow or a faulty handle? Any ideas anyone? Thank you.

Hello @dskippy888 ,
Please tell us exactly which fuse blew, twice.

bone dry. The drains are cleaned annually.

I suppose the next step is to remove the seat and open up the Kessy? 😭

hi Johnny, I’m told it’s a fuse for the central comfort system
