Bentley Rear View Camera Module

Hello anyone,
My Bentley has bad Rear View Camera Module... the part no is : 3W5 907 441
I ordered from Scuderia Car part and it will come here in 3 or 4 week...
While waiting for the Module I just wonder did anyone replace it before? I heard it need calibration tool.. what happen if we doesn't calibrate it? will the image still come?

I'm google Ross Tech they have a manual for it... But can we just enter the value without the Tool...& what is the number I should enter..

[Select]
[6C - Back-Up Camera]

[Security Access - 16]
Enter 22351, to enable the adaptation.

[Adaptation - 10]
Channel 005
[Read]
500 mm is the basis value of channel 005. Measure the heights between the Calibration Device (VAS 6350) and the surface (e.g. 80 mm), add 500 mm to it and enter the final value as new value (e.g. 500 + 80 = 580 mm).
[Test]
[Save]
Channel 004
[Read]
20000 mm is the basis value of channel 004, 2855 mm is the wheelbase (7L Touareg). Measure the Distance between the Calibration Device (VAS 6350) and the rear axle (e.g. 1500 mm), and subtract it from 20000 mm minus 2855 mm enter the final value as new value (e.g. 20000 - 2855 - 1500 = 15645 mm).

  1. Note: If you were redirected to this page, please use the wheelbase in mm of the vehicle you are working with, 2855mm is for the 7L Touareg in the example above.
    1. Tiguan 5N = 2601
    2. Passat 3C = 2709
    3. Passat 35/CC = 2710
    4. Passat 36 = 2712
    5. Sharan = 2920
    6. Phaeton 3D = 2881 (Short), 3001 (long)
    7. Bentley Continental GT = 2745
    8. Bentley Continental Flying Spur = 3065
    9. The VW Touareg (7P) is NOT supported at this time.
[Test]
[Save]
Channel 001
[Read]
To save your above adaptation save a new value of 1 to channel 001.
[Test]
[Save]
[Done, Go Back]

Now double check the calibration status.
[Meas. Blocks - 08]
Block 130
[Go!]
Block 005 Field 3 (Calibration Status)
Specification: 0x0000 (Calibration Successful)
[Done, Go Back]
[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]

Hello Nhat,
You really do not need to calibrate it, if you are getting the same part number module form the same model vehicle it should be plug and play, now when I retro fitted RVC to my 05 A8LW12 with a unit from a Q7 it was and still is off a bit, but I like where it is at, it gives me plenty of field of view but also shows me my bumper in the view, and all in focus.

Is there a test for the camera ?

Johnny

@Johnny : because I have both car so First thing I do is I swap the camera module from the black one to the white one..
but the black one is belong to it so it already has the calibration and coding.. and of course it plug and play..
I just wonder about the brand new unit does it need to do calibration as I saw in the ODIS screen..
but if u said that then I will be happy... because it need a lot of money to buy VAS calibration tool

Just so I clearly understand you, are you saying you took the good working RVC module out of the Black FS and put it in the white non working units place and all worked ?

@johnny : Yes, I have both car, because in my country the part is so rare, and I need to wait about 3 to 4 week to get the part from the USA, so normally in order to diagnostic something, I will swap part from car to car.
This time I swap the Rear view camera module from the White car to the Black car in order to verify that is the correct problem.

My camera still working good, just the module is bad and I went to scuderia car part to get the brand new replacement.
I just wonder if I put new unit in any calibration need to be done like in the ietis said..
