Fuel Control modules

Hello guys,

I had this problem for a while, (Fuel system fault contact workshop), I visited the dealer and he looked it up and it was a short in the fuel control module and he said you have to change the fuel pumps and the control module, but I thought that it is only the control module hence the car works fine, and it is a waste of money to change the fuel pumps, but I couldn’t locate the control modules, I have a FS 2013 Eu, hence the manual only shows the bracket and the control module not the location,

if anyone can tell me where to locate it, I would be thankful

Hello @Abdulmajeed31 ,
Your 2013 FS should have 2 fuel pump control modules, they are both located on the underbody by the rear axle as stated in the attached pictures of diagrams, known as "J538" and "J835".

No, you do not need to replace the whole assembly (fuel pumps), just match the part number,
like 3W3 906 093 E.

See my post number 10 in the 6Speed link below, I reference the 2013 there.
