[2020 Continental GT] Best Dog Car Seat? Leather scratch resistent?
Purchased a 2020 Continental GT. UK based. I have a medium size dog, she weighs 20kg. She will be sitting in the backseat behind the front passenger seat.
I'd like some recommendations on the best fitting dog car seat/hammock/booster.
Also are the leather on the doors scratch resistant?

Can only speak to the last Gen GTs but in terms of scratch resistance I would say no. I'd suggest asking a dealer if it's a A Grade leather like the seats or B Grade lesser leather like some cars do.
I have owned a lot of dogs and cars. Leather (especially high quality leather) will definitely scratch. If the dog is trained to act appropriately in the car you will have no issues. Otherwise, the best thing you can do is crate him. No seat covers will stop a poorly trained dog from destroying the seats quickly.

Right exactly. Dogs have absolutely no business i a $200k+ car. That's what the beater SUV is for. Dog smell, pet dander, their butts rubbing on the nice leather? No thanks. Not the place.

I would go to a decent upholstery place and get them to make a custom dog cover for the car, You can get them to make it to suit the car, removable bits for just in case. It's your car, do what you want with it

Sorry, but I fail to see the logic in your comment, it's really out there,, just because someone sees a Bentley with a dog in it gives reason to key a vehicle, it's sad, but I believe mostly the keying of any vehicle is simply a jealous person whom has not worked hard enough to achieve the life they want, so they take it out on the ones who have worked hard, regardless of what you are driving, I have been on the receiving end of a key scratched Cadillac back in the day, and just a few years ago had note left on my Audi A8L W12 telling me to "eat a bag of d&$÷< , It's just a Volkswagen", for no apparent reason, I was at a wedding in Connecticut, had no issues with anyone, yet in the morning while walking my Mom and Dad to my car, mom pulled the note off the windshield, not cool, some people just suck.
So please don't blame society on one of our members just asking to make his dog happy and comfortable while protecting his leather.
Be well.

Anyone who drives a dog around in a new car that costs more than most people's homes deserves what they get. That's completely tone deaf. But hey, let them eat cake and do whatever you want right?
