I had as similar issue the other day, I will try to explain how I got different actions/volume when starting the vehicle to volume changing while driving, normally if I park in my driveway behind one of my other vehicles, or in the shop garage where it's just like being behind a vehicle in my driveway, I am close to other objects, so my PDC warning will sound as soon as I take the transmission out of park, so I have a habit of just tapping the PDC button on the dash to silence the beeping as I know my surroundings, sometimes I press it as soon as I start the engine as I know the beeping will follow, now normally I do not turn up the radio until I have left the driveway or shop, so I didn't notice it, I found out the other day that when I had parked not so close to my other vehicles, or in a wide open parking lot, I had no beeping, so I did not press the PDC button, but then the radio volume was low, I drove off and at a certain speed the volume came up, I thought this had to do with the SDV, but it didn't, every time I came to a stop the volume went down, then I realized it was the PDC controlling the volume, so I got a little closer to the vehicle in front of me at a red light and the PDC beeping started, so I hit the PDC button and all was good, no more low volume for the rest of my stop and go drive, of course then when I went to park, I had no beeping.. I had to tap the PDC button again to activate.
Sorry for the long description 😅
