So the glovebox has just a CD player.

I would press the eject button at the top of the display unit to see if any discs eject.

Looks like the nav DVD was already loaded into the memory, hence no dvd in the slot.
If I wanted to update to a newer nav DVD I would then load the new DVD and it would
presumably over write the current Nav. It all seems to make sense now.

 

So is the NAV DVD disc in the case that you posted the picture of, or is it missing, as your original question was as to where is the NAV DVD in your 2013 GTC.

It's in the case. I got stuck on where an updated DVD would go if I wanted to update.
So, it's different than our MB which retains the DVD. Too many slots.

Hi anyone have the updated DVD Nav disc for my 07 Bentley - based on what I am reading there is a BMW version available?
Not sure how to find it.

BMW pn 65 90 2 365 699 worked perfectly for my 07 flying spur...don't know if there's an updated version.

 

in 2013+ it is rns850 and it can be updated with sd card(like on touareg) or dvd discs(for disks im not that sure)
