06 Flying Spur Headlight Bulb Issue
I've read about all I can find about changing the bulbs in things; the outside, regular beam light. some have had success, others not so much. So, here's where I am.
I had a failure in the driver's side (left hand side) bulb. It took me a while to figure out how to get it out. So out it came. As most know, once the rear cover is removed, its pretty much a blind repair. Pulled off the cover, then pulled off the metal inner part, and then pulled out the bulb. Only took AN HOUR to get one bulb out!
Now its time to put it together. For those who've done this, what's the best sequence. I have tried inserting the bulb into the light fixture first and then installing the metal connector onto the bulb....Then I tried installing the bulb into the metal connector and inserting it all into the light. No luck either way. I know I'm missing something, but I'm struggling. Any helps or solutions, or hints would really be appreciated while I still have any skin left on my left hand.
thanks in advance:
