After some advice, I have replaced both motors , the.right works fine but there seems to be a lack of communication with the left even vja my Autel 808 system

As far as you issue, what if any faults show up for the parking brake control module ?

I do not use Autel for a reason, I use Ross-Tech VCDS, and VAS 5054 ODIS, therefore without a proper scan with the proper equipment, I really can't help, but only to say to check all your connections, and bench test the motor, are they new, or used ?
