krown - worth doing it?

Hi,
I am cental europe, melty climate, especially in this century - no real winter, no real spring, sudden tropics in summer, then again melty autumn style...

how GT is rust protected?

worth to do this?

https://www.krown.com/en/

anyone experienced with krown solution / or maybe other?

and additional question about technology holes in doors, or in the car thresholds. Are there any, under plastic covers etc? Anyone who has experience with the car disassembling

How is the car holding up? If after 18 years there's no, or very little, rust I'd say they did a good job.

Sazam,
See John Fiammetti's post 26 on the following link on what he does to weather proof his every six months. As far as car disassembly ready Johnny's rebuild front to back and then read it again after going and looking at your car.

dangme55 is infamous around these parts
If you are really concerned with rust and corrosion there is an aviation product called Corrosion X. It come in a spray can and can be used through one of those plastic nozzle extensions. It is used extensively in aviation. It creates a di-electric film in cracks and crevices. It 'creeps' with a vengeance which adds to its effectiveness. The 'creep' attribute also means that it will 'creep/seep' for a good while and needs to be cleaned up several times.
It can be sprayed in rocker panels, access plugs in doors, yada yada.
It is fairly expensive but really works well. Corrosion is a big problem on aircraft and it has been used for years there. Again, can be messy but very good. Be careful around areas where you DO want good metal to metal conductivity.

Thanks, now looked at Johnnys car - which was flooded - dont know how long it was diving, but it seems the fabric galvanisation is quite ok...
Look at the rotors vs the body...

I think that @Johnny Hotspur GT could say more what was the condition of the body after all this... but even if he will not, from photos looks quite promising....
Not talking here about overall aluminium elements corrosion (oxydation) or the suspension elements corrosion which are not galvanised / they dont care about it.
