Erratic suspension heights

My '07 Flying Spur has regularly dropped in the front a few inches when not being driven for 3-4 days. It's always pumped right up with no issues. A couple weeks ago the front stayed up & the rear dropped, which had never happened. Since then: once all four corners dropped, once the front right dropped while the others stayed up. I put the ride height to the highest, no dropping anywhere. On another day it was back to the front dropping.

So every day may be a new situation, no consistency.

I have access to VCDS if that helps, although there's no error codes for address 34 (level control) if that's the correct address.

Is it a case of leaky shocks or something else?

thanks for any help.

38? not 34?

reading what you wrote sounds like defective suspension module

- buy one - swap - check - report results pls.

there are other options but having your description of strange random drops on different sides without any logical pattern with no errors are much less probable.

@sazam You're correct, 34 not 38 address number.

Looks like used ones are available, maybe not new ones....

go for it, according to my knowledge, there are no diffs between them (letters at the end does not matter) so you can try any, but of course, if you have posibility to get exact - get exact.

report pls the effects!!!

Hi @Johnny Hotspur GT ,
The batteries were replaced in 2019, so maybe...but when the car's not moving it's on the tender, maybe TOO much tender. I'll get them checked when I take the car in to my trusty indy next week.

Now in day 3 of not moving, but the car height is as even as ever which is not typical, the front end would be dipped by now.
I did run a scan a week ago, saw no suspension faults, then cleared everything. Just when I thought it was getting worse, it's now better than ever, strange.

So we'll see what, if anything, he finds.

Larry
