2016 GT rear window knocking sound

Morning All,

my GT since purchase has always had a irritating sound when dropping the rear windows fully down. Its a nocking/clucking sound that occurs when the glass touches the lowest point/fully lowered. Its doesn't happen all the time but most of the times.

I researched online and found a video regarding the window initialization.

https://www.google.com/search?q=bent...9u8P69Co6AU_34

Yesterday evening I tried the process and seemed working after various tentatives (not sure it worked only because as above the nocking sound occurs often but not always) but this morning the nocking was back......

Have you experience the same issue? Might it be an adjustment or window regulator? Is there a way maybe to fully reset all the windows?

Just as a comment I noticed that when the rear windows are partially open I can manually move them back and forward - they seem free to move not open and down but back and forward - but that maybe is normal or maybe is the problem?

Any comment would be welcome as its such an annoying sound when you open the windows on such a beautiful car.

thanks!

Filippo

Initialisation process

Hi Filipo,
I had the same issue after the housekeeping battery went dead. The initialisation worked for me, what I did and what is not in the video, I used the key to turn ignition on, and not the ****. Maybe that helps you.
