Rear Sunshade

Good day to all. I have a 2006 Bentley Continental Flying Spur. The problem is my rear sunshade will not deploy. I'm not sure what to even start checking. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

First place I would check is the fuse if it's suddenly stopped working.

Not sure how long it's stopped as it was not working when I purchased the car in December, 2023.

Hello @Edanyliuk ,
As AlistairD stated, check the fuses, the fuses are F17 and F45 in the trunk on the left above the house battery, F17 is for the blind switch, and F45 is for the blind control module, I would think that the blind motor would require a heavier amp rating, maybe 10 or 15, but the wiring diagram only shows the two 5 amp inputs into the control module and out to the blind motor, so check both fuses.

Another thought, being that I have a GT, I have no rear blind, but my A8L W12 does, and there are separate settings in the MMI to disable the rear blind for certain actions, does the Flying Spur have any such settings, or just a simple switch for up or down, and no automatic operations ?

Johnny
