My GT Time Attack car to be...The whole story.
Discs arrived. but no pads
All now braided brake hoses.
About to delete secondary cats.
Found oil leak from somewhere above starter.
Been drying out carpets . Drivers foot well absolutely soaking wet. Passenger side not too bad. Modules dry at least.
First event missed.......perhaps I should have bought a better example. you live and learn.

Hello @Frank ( Sunnyside ) ,
As to you question of any manual for the tear down or rebuilding of the W12, there is none, nor are there any torque specs no sequence, nor are any of the internal parts available from Bentley, Audi, or VW, I will post the video of Jason showing a rebuild he did 11 years ago, he reverse engineered to get torque specs, and the gentleman in one of the comments is ( I believe) the gentleman that purchased the bare W12 Bentley block from me back in 2018, he purchased pistons and rings from a company in Germany, I will try to find that information to share.

It would be nice to be able to repair these engines but It makes you think it's just not worth striping down when a used engine is around £3k to 4k.
Next job on the race car is to trace the slow oil drip from above the starter motor and to remove both cats........without removing the engine 🥺
Frank.
its a pitty after 20 years , when they actually stopped production on w12, there is no public data on repair settings and parts to this engine.
has anyone heard of public available unofficial spec after reverse engineering etc.
i also saw a yt video where a mechanic from russia did the full w12 repair but can not find it now.
