That does look really great!

Few questions.

Does it support the suspension buttons?

Does it support the CD changer?

Does it replace the HVAC controls?

How does the quality feel?

Good job Robin!

Yes and no, the shock adjustment on the console will bring up the menu like the factory screen, and then adjust on the screen, the suspension height button, you will go into the vehicle settings, which is just a couple clicks and raise and lower your car. Pressing the 2 buttons will still put you into jack mode.

I believe so, I see the controls are there in the new head unit, My 16 GT does not have the optional CD changer (just had the CD player in the unit itself) so I am unable to test that feature. I will make sure and show those settings in my demo video. I can also ask the tech to confirm.

Yes, you get all new HVAC controls, you can control using the buttons and *****, or on the touch screen.

The quality feels and looks excellent, even the ***** feel good, The trim is made of plastic and it looks amazing, the piano black paint is flawless.

I have more playing around with it but so far I am loving it.

This is critical. The Bently OEM control surfaces integrate perfectly onscreen as you know. Push the button (suspension or level) and then select the corresponding settingon screen - using the picture of the car. IMO, its a bid step backwards to fiddle through a couple menus to select it. Also, so nice to see the picture of the car on-screen. It's definitely a bespoke bentley touch, thats completely lost by the setting being buried in a menu.

PLEASE..PLEASE...PLEASE ask the engineers to replicate that feature. Then it's truly an upgrade, without any lost function/feature.

Also - the bentley animation for the radio tuner is incredible. They replicated the look/feel of tuning a radio on a car from the 70s...digitally.

That's one thing I really dont like about my Acar in the Maserati...the radio doesnt work! I dont think Bentley owners will allow these small details to pass.

This is promising. Far for functional and classier than the "Tesla"-style screens that seem to be a fad. I'm no fan of touchscreens with no buttons as a comprehensive solution. If this unit works in 2009 car with Naim audio, I'll be seriously considering an upgrade.
