I was hoping there might have been a Vw one that was compatable to just plug in

The Bentley is 3W0 035 110, the VW is 3D0 035 110, and the units for sale on ebay show both the VW and the Bentley as having HW-0006, and SW-3705, so it looks like the Pheaton/VW unit will work, and one is listed at $47 USD.

I purchased a VW IPOD interface cable for £5 from eBay and Bovee from Amazon….this allows you to Bluetooth your phone and playlists come up on info screen and play via the Bentley audio

The cable you speak of only works for vehicles equipped with the MMI module, MMI = Multi Media Interface, and such MMI did not become an option until 2009-2010 depending on market, the OP has a 2005, so this is not an option.
