I have a 2012 Bentley Continental Flying Spur that I bought last week, this isn't going to be my main car so wanted to use the battery charger which came with the car but I am having a slight problem.
This is the charger that came with the car
But the place where I expect the charger to connect has this type of connection
Do I need an adapter or something to be able to use this charger? TIA for any suggestions.

Look for the magnetic connector inside the lip of the trunk lid about 8 inches in from the left side. You don't have to open the trunk to slide it in... once you know where it is!
Thanks Bruce, it would appear that my car doesn't have the magnetic charger connection, after some more digging I've found it wasn't introduced onto the flying spur until 2013 and mine is a 2012. So I am not too sure why my car came with this charger but it probably explains why it's brand new and still in the box! I need a Ctek charger with the comfort connector and the Bentley 3 pin adaptor to be able to charge the battery as this newer version only works with the magnetic mount and you can't use the Ctek comfort connectors, or I could just use a normal charger with crocodile clips and clip it straight onto the battery terminals.
Thanks again.
I wasn't sure exactly what year they made the change and assumed you had it since you have the charger. The various connectors are available online so you could cut the magnetic one off and splice on a female comfort connector on. The add the male comfort connector to the MagSafe one for your next car!. The one you need can be purchased and plugged into the new connector.
Thanks Bruce, I'm assuming the previous owner bought this charger as they thought it was the right one and that's the reason it's still brand new in the boot. I think I will put the MagSafe one up for sale and I should be then able to buy a universal CTEK charger and the correct comfort connector, although the three pin comfort connector is just shy of £100, that's for a plastic connector and two bits of wire, I'm guessing this is an example of the Bentley tax
