should oil pressure warning on dash show up @ VCDS scan ?
should oil pressure warning on dash show up @ VCDS scan ?
Still going on about recurrent oil pressure warning on dash.
low oil pressure is OK and recognized by the car (warning goes off when below 1800rpm)
HIGH oil pressure is not measured or recognized and gives prompt oil pressure low warning on dash once engine makes 1800+ rpm.
Wen I do a scan using VCDS / VAGCOM there are NO FAULTS showing up ......
I know the oil pressure sensor is not measuring the oilpressure, merely checking if Low and High pressures are obtained (1.3bar - 1.6bar)
However when I"m getting a (high) Low oil pressure warning on the dash, shouldn"t the fault also show up on the VCDS scan ?

christian
