2010 Bentley Supersports Power Steering Issue
The power steering went out in my 2010 Supersports and I am stuck. The power steering pump was leaking so I replaced that and then refilled the fluid and bled the air from the lines. The steering wheel turns freely jacked up but as soon as I lower the car and try to drive it the steering wheel will not turn (like it has no fluid). Any advice is greatly appreciated!

How many times did you turn it back and forth from almost lock to lock without engine running and cap off reservoir? Most racks need 30-40 cycles back and forth-top up as needed. Then after this is completed do the same with engine running, try not to hit the lock hard at end, stay just short or a light bump on lock. This should bleed the air out of system. If it still won't turn wheels, I would say rack is toast assuming you replaced pump with a new one, not a used/second hand pump.

Ultimately my last-ditch effort was to replace the new pump with the original and everything works fine. The original issue was the pump leaking and as I do not work on cars, I am just learning about this car, and there is no help online in the form of videos or tips, I assumed the pump was bad.
Turns out that the banjo bold at the top of the pump was loose so it was leaking. I installed the original pump yesterday and added fluid, started the car, and the air came out because the pump had enough pressure to push it out. It was a great experience as I learned a lot about the car. It seems that the new pump was not working so that will be returned.
