Front strut air bag working pressure?

Hi all, I'm in the process of stripping down my otherwise fine front struts to replace tatty ( read completely disintegrated ) dust boots. Before refitting to the car after the rebuild I'd like pressure test the struts for a few days and soap test a few times to check the new O rings, the struts will be held at aprox 50% travel and I'll fit a tee piece, gauge and valve to the air inlet. I'm just wondering if anyone else has done this and what would be an acceptable pressure to use so as not to overstress the air bag itself.
Regards Chris.
