2015 Flying Spur - Battery Dead - Open Trunk?
2015 Flying Spur - Battery Dead - Open Trunk?
Hi all, my battery in my 2015 Flying Spur is completely dead (both batteries), how do I go about accessing the trunk so that I can jump the car?
Hello @gdoubleo ,
Welcome to 6speedonline !
As to your issue, you can apply power through a power socket / cigarette lighter just to get enough power to pop the trunk lid, or you can apply power at the positive post under the hood, at the cowl/firewall area on the left side facing the engine, W12 or 4.0 V8 have the same power post at the cowl iirc, or, and I am not 100% on this, you remove the passenger side rear seat to gain access to the 12 or 13mm bolt head that you put a ratchet on and turn clockwise while another person is pressing down and lifting up on the trunk lid.
The video is of a 2012 flying spur, the person in the video does say that it is the 2012, last before the face-lift, so not sure if the 2015 is the same for emergency trunk lid release.
