Thinking about getting GIAC performance chip upgrade on a GT. Trying to get 100 extra hp on this mod alone, I heard some up's and down about this Mod, some say they cant feel the diffences from stock. Is it worth the extra $1200 bucks?

 

Have not done chip on my GTC, have not found the need to as of yet, maybe later. I did the GIAC chip on my Porsche Turbo cab and you can definately feel the difference. Thought the price on the chip was $5995?

 

Its plenty worth it. I dont think I would do the chip though, have someone do the flash instead.

Its worth it. It really wakes the car up.

Maybe I will come by next time I am down in O.C. and check it out. Car really has plenty of H.P. but maybe more is better! When I get it lower it will probably handle a little better too.

 

thanks for the help fellas, I really want to get it lowered and chip at the time. I heard that if I do the chip I need I get exhuast system too, do you recommend a brand and how much?

 

It is a huge difference on my buddies Flying Spur. These motors seem to be very restricted from the factory and the Giac flash really opens them up. He still has the factory exhaust.

 

GIAC makes a huge difference in power and delivery, the car literally comes alive (especially when combined with intake and exhaust).

It costs alot more than 1200 bucks though!

 

What is the cost for the GIAC performance software installed? I am considering it but can't get a straight answer on pricing? Also, any problems reported on 07 or newer models? Thanks.
