Looks like no one is interested here.
This thing will be a rocket, especially with a piggyback unit. Add an LSD and it'll smoke an E46 M3. Hell, it may even keep up with an E92 M3.

"Spring" when ever that is.

And I agree the 5 door hatc would be HOT, but BMWNA is stuck inthe 80's and thinks no one will buy a hatch.

I don't like the front more. The Euro head protection hood height rule is really starting to mess with how cars look, particularly small cars.

This thing is basically the same size as an E36, but it's WAY taller.

I'm seriously looking at this car as my next DD. I currently have a two-seater and am looking for the smallest, fastest four seater I can find. I don't think any other car comes close to the new 1.

The only prob is that I always like to wait for the 2nd year of production for a car so that all the bugs are worked out....for example, the cooling issues on the 335i should be resolved on the 08'9....an 09 1 series is what I would really want.
