C63 AMG Kills M3 and RS4
If you want a good handling car get a Lotus Elise. I have no problems with M3's but i hate how M3 owners always say "well BMW's handle better".....who cares, you try hitting the "twisties" in town while i fly past you and make you look stupid. It's not like the C63 is a freakin Escalade....it can handle, just not AS good.....not that you can tell the diffrence on the street anyways. C63 FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The way I see it the M3, RS4, and C63 are all great street cars with their own strengths and weaknesses.
I feel comparing how one would do over the other on a racetrack isn't always the best way to compare street cars since the street is where they spend 99.9% of their time, not the track. The way I look at cars is that there are street cars (stock and modified), semi-prepped race cars (Gt3 Cup, 430 Challenge), and then full race cars (GT3 RSR, 430 GT, etc…). The reason why the street cars are so heavy is because they are street cars….not race cars. Electronics, sound deadening materials, massaging/heated/air conditioned seats, etc..are not lightweight items. Furthermore, if the cars lacked these options people would complain about that. In addition these are cars that are designed to haul 5 people…..
Often people make references to the cars of today not being as precise as what they were in generations past. I feel that such an argument is valid, but it is also relative. Compare how a 4000lb AMG/BMW/Audi car today handles compared to a 4000lb car from 10 years ago. Additionally, compare how that same 4000lb car accelerates and brakes compared to cars even much lighter from previous decades. The fact of the matter is that the driving dynamics and the safety mechanisms of all of these news models are progressing.
If people are interested in going to the track, being safe, and having a good time, I suggest buying a racecar instead of trying to turn a street car into a racecar. The safety factor alone is enough reason to justify going with a racecar over an insanely quick street car on the track. Just take a look at the restraining devices. A lap and shoulder belt don't offer nearly the protection of a 5 point harness paired with a roll-cage. And from a performance aspect, a fully prepped or even semi-prepped club racer will be a better performer on the track than any of its street car variants/competitors.
With that said, it is a privilege for anyone to be able to own any of those three vehicles, and picking which one you want is simply a matter of personal taste. No car is definitively better than the other.

I think the c63 is one of MB best cars to date. I love the way it looks, and I'm sure the power is insane. It would prolly be the better dd, considering the torque, auto, and the fact that it would crush most competition on the highway. However, I might still choose the m3 over it.
And honestly, 'kill' is not the right word at all until they are on the track. It is sort of like comparing camaro and s2000. Obviously they are cars created with a different perspective on what makes an awesome street car. Some want power, others want handling.
I want both!

Some of you guys are fcked up. I've had Porsches, Vettes, etc.....I've tracked them all. The M3 is by far the best overall car I have ever owned or driven. No, its not the fastest, and its not the best handling. But I can put my kids in it and be comfortable, I can take it to the track and have a **** load of fun, he has all the bells and wistles.
The C63 amg is a damn fine looking car, very fast. But it's not an M3. You can do everything in the Merc you can do in the M3,..but you just can't do everything as well.
BTW, I don't give a rats *** what the freaking qtr mile time is. Its a SPORTS CAR.
