for some reason, i am not all that excited about the new v8 m3. i've had both the e36 and e46 versions.

i received a call from my dealer about a january build date car. do i want to bother ?

if you like the looks and can get a test drive (not sure if at all possible) and like it, then go for it! did they tell you a base price? price with options?

what other cars do you own?

if it is not the focus of your fleet, then it will be a fine addition...

from what i've read its not going to be that exciting. I would try to maybe sell the allocation to someone? I say wait until its not only manual, which should be at some point next year.

i have deposits on the coupe, cab and the 4 door (#1 on the cab and 4 door. not sure what spot this coupe is but jan build for feb delivery.)

i usually sell the allocations and purchase the no#2 car. didn't work so well on the m6 convt.....

if someone is interested in the coupe please PM me. i'll likely pass it along to keep up the goodwill with my dealer. the cab i will definitely purchase.

+1 rather have a slightly used M5 than the new E90 M3.
