VF-Engineering Stage 2 Supercharged E46 M3 goes 11.5 @ 122MPH!

Decided to hit the track today, Famoso raceway, with some fellow BMW brotha's, Craig (Mr.3) and Greg (Mash3), and and hella glad I did! I was a bit reluctant at first because I'm still on the stock clutch and it did start to slip on the last run!! I'll get to that later, first the good stuff. I was told The DA or adjusted Altitude was roughly 600 - 800' above sea level, at sea level conditions she may have ran a bit better. On roughly 4 gallons of 91 and 5 gallons of MS109, around 99 octane, NO W/M, FULL interior, the production VFE Stage 2 Supercharger at roughly 8.5 psi, along with these supplemental mods:

SS headers/euro cats/Dinan exhaust
3.91 Dinan gears
LW Battery
Spal Electric Fan
BFGR DR's 18"

....hit 11.58 at 122MPH, with a 1.7 60'!!!

I will post up slips for sure, just need to charge my camera, I got 4 runs in before I decided to call it with the stock clutch slipping. The Best ET was 11.51, best 60' was 1.67, and best trap was 123MPH. On the last run I hit 11.51 but the clutch was slipping between shifts!!!! That was the best launch as well 1.67', but the slipping clutch between shifts hurt the trap speed, 118MPH, and I couldn't hit 11.4 or better. With a new clutch, decent conditions, same 60', and pure race fuel, I think she may have an 11.3 in her and a 126MPH trap! I'll return once I get a clutch! I will post up the slips ASAP.

EDit** Here's the slips, car #345.

Mtech, it's the same mani as stage 1.

Ranger the car made 470WHP and 320 WTQ on a dynojet, 91 octane.

Crazy, the car that ran a 10, was a built old hot rod, big cams, open exhaust, etc. I let him go, and waited almost few seconds, those cars kinda freak me out when I'm on the side of them, haha, hence the 1.96 reaction time, lol.

Man, I don't blame you. As the owner of a sub 10 sec muscle car, if not in the groove, you can cross the center line easy.

Awesome 60'. Cutting 1.6s is very respectable!

What does your exhaust setup consist of? I'm going to install the VFE stg.2 kit on my buddies '02 vert. We picked up a set of ebay headers already, car has full Magnaflow exhaust from the cats back.

I saw another post of yours with your cats for sale, you changing your setup?

Thanks man. When I hit the 11.58, I was running 8.5psi, SS V2 headers, euro cats, stock x-pipe and Dinan Exhuast on a 91/ms109 mix, mostly ms109.

Now with 10.5 psi, I'm running the same stuff but with SS cats, I plan on hitting the track again in Feburary when it cools down a bit. I would highly recommend running cats with the VF setup, euro cats or better, the car performs better with them, then without. Good luck with the install!
