we were doing a first gear rolling at about 20mph then we both floored it we were neck in neck 3rd gear; going into 4th i started pulling about a quarter car length, and then we ran out of road. needless to say but i was very impressed how the m did, im glad i got the dct tranny

 

what is the dct tranny...how does it work... cause i know it's like smg... but they totally called it some-thing else.... does it work on the same basis as smg or something totally different and new....

 

Thats weird, I heard the c63 is a beast in a straight line, and the new m3 DEF not so much.

c63 must have messed up or something cause there is no way you guys were even

 

it works on the same basis but when you have driven an smg befoore and then drive the dct you notice the difference it shifts insanely quick

 

YEAH but they always tested the 6speed not the dct

 

well all of the c63 vs m3 test that have been seen are on a m3 thats 6 speed not dct and the dct is much more quicker than the 6 speed

weird....in everything I've read the C63 is clearly the faster car....who knows I guess, I've never driven either so to me it's just magazine racing, surprised me though

good for you, i just sold my e46 m3 and im an //m sackrider but go look at all the reviews/tests that have been done..c63>m3

 

i know ive seen them straight line c63 takes it, but i havent seen a non 6 speed m3 review vs c63
