its to bad we cant find any old airports in the NW that are still in good enough shape to run on and do top speed challenges.

 

TurboR850 my compliments to you on such an extensive body of historical information. You certainly do have a passion for the history regarding this facet of aviation.
My wife is a pilot with a private liscense and she really could appreciate the info.
My passion is motorsports and down here in So. Florida I'm trying to get off the ground a Motorsport event of top speed rolling start run-offs.
The Dade-Collier airfield looks mighty interesting.
Will have to investigate the subject.
