Just Installed H&R Lowering Springs E92 M3
Vivid Racing had a customer bring us their new BMW M3 E92 to put a lowering spring kit on the car. The 3 hour install was very easy and gave the V8 monster a nice stance. The springs lowered the front of the car about 1.5 inches and there about 1.2 inches overall.

Drop is very nice, however, your customer must have spent all his/her money on the M3.
When you own an expensive car (like an M3), you should have one of the best coilovers installed, not springs.

looks sharp! we have H&R springs installed on our 996 and we're really happy with the results. i've heard the same thing about "you need to go with full coilovers vs springs", but all in all, we're pleased with our choice. =) i'll be having the boxster done in about a month as well.
your smokin something...when you're looking to close the gap springs are fine...wouldnt even notice a difference...I'll probably get a set for mine as well...sports ...
You're absolutely correct, I'm smoking the good stuff while you're smoking the bad sh$t.
Customers are not going to pay $3k plus for coilovers if they felt there are no differences with handling/performance/quality. And I'm not saying lowering springs are bad; I had lowering springs on my 1985 VW GTI.
I'm just saying if you drive a high-end car don't short change yourself by dumping $500 springs. Thats like wearing a $5k Versace suit, with $30 shoes; why bother.
