360 Forged - WORLDS FASTEST E92 M3 PROJECT! Built by ASR Engineering

Ladies and Gentlemen! We just purchased our brand new E92 black on black! Many things to come on this build, we'll keep everyone posted on the progress as we move along. The car will be a representative for our new SportLine wheels, and ASR Engineering's E92 Tuning program.

Some basic initial plans for the car:

360 Forged 20" SPORTLINE Mesh Eight wheels
ASR Engineering exhaust system
ASR Engineering Intake system
ASR Engineering NOS setup, possibly 125-150 shot
Carbon fiber front spoiler and rear diffuser
Undecided on suspension setup...

Stay tuned on this build, we just did the initial 1200 mile service and tomorrow morning we are doing some baseline Dyno pulls just for a starting point. We'll see what the E92's limits are on this one, and without a doubt it will be the worlds fastest E92 just like our CLS63, and 997TT! Abid at ASR is a NOS BMW expert! His NOS M5's are already pushing 700hp runing low 11's...FUN!

Hmmm...ASR Intake???....ASR Exhaust???....All I know for certain is that ASR made some intake scoops for forced air..which were posted on the M5Board.
They also said that an exhaust was in development...but made no mention of an intake...unless you were referring to the scoops.
I know of ASR's M5...it belongs to M5Ranger...a really well thought out car...and VERY fast...there is also another ASR M5...a black one...though I do not believe it is done the way Ranger's car is set-up.
I am interested to see what ASR can come up with...though I dont think I would go the NOS route....
Thanks for the info

MCars the nitrous set up of ASR's is the best. It is bullet proof and there has NEVER been a problem from any customer.
My M5 has been completely checked out after 10,000 mile running nitrous and all perfect.
ASR has it down exactly perfect.

Actually, our scoops are just an entry level hp adder to help the stock intake run more efficiently. We are also designing a whole new intake system, although I have to admit the factory design on the E92 M3 is a much better design than what is offered on the E60 M5's and E63 M6's. The exhaust system is underway for the E92 M3. Following completion of the E92 we will begin the build process for the E90.

We appreciate the positive comments about M5 Ranger's car and the setup. As far as our nitrous packages for the E60 M5's and E63 M6's, we've done almost 65 kits installed both domestically and internationally including M5ranger's car and several Black M5's here locally. As we speak, we are currently in the testing and R&D stage of a custom nitrous kit for the new M3. Hopefully we'll have something available very shortly that will perform as well and as consistant as our M5 and M6 packages. Stay tuned for upcoming results.

Thanks for the replies....As I posted on the M5 board...I told the ASR rep there to sign me up for the scoops when they are available....
As far as the other stuff...I am anxious to see what they turn out....I would like to do some mods. to the car to get some more power down low.
Regards
S

It's tough to say since we need to see what the factory air temp attenuation range is and how the factory fuel system enriches in comparison to the E60 M5. Keep in mind that the E60 M5 uses a Mass Meter, whereas the E92 M3 does not. We will know what kind of hp we can expect to run safely in the next week or so.

So right now you have a stock E92 M3?

Why don't you wait until you get some numbers and some modifications before you start claiming preposterous "World Fastest" titles...

As of right now, we are almost at the 500hp flywheel mark safely. We have been doing R&D with our nitrous kit for quite some time now and at this moment that is the hp number we've reached. This does not mean we are completed with the tuning and R&D process, since it is a complicated process when you want to run nitrous on these cars safely. Although, we have yet to see or here of any other E92 M3 make that kind of hp.
