bmw na f/s is offering 0.9% financing
otherwise if its sitting on dealer lot ---1k over MSRP i think is attainable.

Assuming no factory cash is available on the car, invoice or very close to it.

word is that bmw is letting dealers to offer some of the units as demo models. invoice or below is very attainable. just a heads up from my personal experience - don't expect to get a smoking deal on a black car, unless it's lightly optioned or has some weird specs. i saw one with a brown interior that they were willing to let go for cheap. i called almost every dealer in so cal in my search. if you like silver, blue, red, there are tons out there. i saw a silver car advertised for $83k.

Or buy one used - they depreciate like stones.

i guess it's supply and demand in the area. i'm only speaking from my personal experience, but i literally called all the dealers within 100 miles from me. you could get a deal on a black car, but not as good as the silver, blue or red. i'm not sure what the deals were for white or space grey as i was not interested in either of those colors.

many of the smoking deals are for cars that have been sitting on the lot for a long time. in some cases, this is over a year and yes i'm talking about 2008 models. i would assume that the dealers can move black cars more readily than these other colors.

Black and White are the new Silvers. I'm actually looking for Alpine White and the black as my 2nd choice. Man, I don't feel like wiping down my black car every other day.

I'm not paying cash for the car, so with the financing, I think it pays to get a new car over a pre-owned. I heard a couple over invoice is fair these days for a car on the lot. Anyone get a deal like that?

A couple of weeks ago this dealership had $2500 under invoice. Surely, there must be others...

Actually, after looking more closely at the fine print...effective through 8/31/08.

how long are you going to keep the car? if you plan to dump it in a couple of years, the lease can't be beat. the residual on a 24 month, 10k mile lease is 71%. if you're going to keep it, the .09% is very attractive. only thing is that there will be some nice upgrades on the '09 and '10 models.

NO!! That fact pretty much says it all about quality/reliability/durability of new gen "M"s, IMO.

wow, I had no idea there was such room to work with when buying higher end M's. I probably should've asked last week when I bought my E92 M3...So will there still be E60/E63/E64 in a few years?
