Need M6 wheel ideas

I'm looking to put some 22" wheels on the M6 since its going to be for show and a daily, and don't plan on racing or tracking it. I'm having trouble finding wheels that would look good on a Sapphire Black coupe. Any suggestions and pictures would be great.

Also I was wondering if I'm going to need to put H&R, or Dinan springs on the car to make the car look like its sitting right on the 22" wheels, or can I do without?

Thanks

if u do wheel the car has to be dropped in order to make it look right. the 22'' is an overkill for the car. the 21'' already drives pretty bad not to mention the 22''. u might have to reconsider...

Thumbs up

Some say 22's are to big and some say they look perfect everyone is intitled to their own opinion. I say because of the large wheel base of the M6 22's to me would look perfect. I own a 335i and I went with 20's because thats what fit flush. Since the M6 is bigger you have to step it up and go with 22's. If you are looking for a good forged wheel let me know I can give you my advice on what forged wheels would look good for your M6.

Well does anyone here have pictures or seen an M6 sitting on 20" with H&R sport spring, not coilovers? How did it look?

There are many beautiful wheels in the market and there are several good forged wheel manufacturer's.
You have a tall order of going through selections.
You have to know your taste in wheel styles and finishes.
Do you want one piece or multi-piece wheels?

Good luck. Take up the offer the last member stated to help, but you must talk to someone who really knows wheels to help.

M6 wheels

I would go with 3 piece wheels in 22" carbon fiber centers and polished lip.
You can it a 6" lip in the rear, it looks sick. tires are 255/30 22 front and 295/25 22 rear. I am building a set for an M6 as we speak. proformanceindustries.com

I would def not go more than 21" On that car, 22's are just overkill and will ruin your ride...

Definitely take a look at the DPE Signature Series line-up.

Here is an image of a silver 6 series with 20" Brushed Aluminum S-20s.

With the 1" drop all around from the H&R sport springs, the wheels will fill up the fender nicely.
