M5 Pricing lease vs buying

I know this has probably already been dicussed here but what are the latest figures for the new 08 M5's?

I checked out the lease promotions BMW has with the M5 and its something like 999/month with 2500 down and 1000 security deposit. This is for an new 08 model. I dont think they have any special lease promotions for 09s.

My question to those who have leased these cars is, how close were you to getting this price or were you able to do better and by how much?

thanks in advance

If it is worth it to you, that is all that matters. I would say go for it!
