Anyone in here have an x5? I'm ideally picking up a new/newer 4.8 X5.

In short:
I'm looking for the good and bad on this car. What options are worth it, what aren't? User reviews etc....

Ps - we can turn this into somewhat of a picture thread, as I really haven't come across any on any of the other forums (ie xoutpost).

my wife has one...4.8...pretty much every option...she spec'd it out (08 in 07) ..had electrical issues that required trips to BMW on several occassions...I think everything works now...she is looking at new ones as we speak...is even considering the new X5M...I let her decide what she wants...I try my best to influence her but seldom works...

Im in the process of doing some mod's on my X5 i picked up a 3.0 last year as I do a fair amount of driving, and cut some cost on gas. I can't say I really have any complaints about it-I've had a few BMW's and had this one over a year so far..

 

I'd love an X5M with the Estoril/Dove combo.
